Till now I haven’t found a single home which doesn’t have a Photo frame. In fact, all the homes which I have visited have some photo frames, be it a single one or numerous ones. I still remember a lady, in her 50s, with beautiful photo frames hanging on the walls of her room. It was her husbands and sons who were in Air Force, both fighter Pilots. A widow be herself, she possessed these photo frames more than anything else. Carved in wooden frames with Golden Embroidery all over, she had MIGs featuring both of them. Some of the frames only have those planes framed in them. I still remember how she told be about the good olden days she had spent as an Officers Wife and Mother of a Fighter Pilot. With tears in her eyes, she would tell me about it all.
It was then, that I realized Photo Frames are more than sheer images or pictures hanging on the walls or showcased in the showcase. They are memoirs of the life one has lived. Beautiful and good, they remind us how precious life is and how we must safeguard it from all the evil. They remind us of we must live every moment which passes by us and how we must dwell in every second that passes by. After all, the moments which go by, never come back. Photo frames come in different variants – they are made of plastic, wood, metal like aluminum, gold and silver or they are just painted out on beautiful canvass.
